Buhari Expected Back in Nigeria after Vacation in UK

President Muhammadu Buhari, is expected to arrive Nigeria, through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja (NAIAA),

this weekend, after his 10 day vacation in London, United Kingdom (UK).

Messrs. Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina, both Aides in charge of Media and Publicity gave the confirmation in separate TV and telephone interviews granted some sections of the media in Abuja during the week.

However, Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant, Shehu could not confirm the exact time when the president will touch down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

He was quoted as saying: “The president is expected back in the country today (Saturday).

“For now, I can’t confirm the exact time he will land but protocol officials will alert on the time ahead so that we can move to the airport to welcome him back home.”

The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, in compliance with Section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution held forth for himmitt, through transmission of letter to the Senate President and Speaker of the House of Representatives as at the time the president was travelling.
