President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as he marks his 71st birthday.
In a message to the Governor and his family, President Buhari said “Happy Birthday Day to Governor Ganduje. May Allah give you good health and long life so that you continue to serve the people of Kano and the nation.
“I personally wish you a lot of energy, high spirits and good health.”
Mr. Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Adviser to PMB, made the disclosure in a statement made available to SHARPEDGENEWS Online.
Meanwhile, the former Governor of Kano State, now a serving Senator, Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso, has announced the passage of his father in Kano.
The late Musa Kwankwaso, died at the age of 93 today (Christmas Day) 25th.
The families of the deceased urged sympathisers to offer their prayers at home, ostensibly in adherence to COVID-19 Protocols. The deceased is survived by 19 children, two wives and many grandchildren. He has been buried in Bompai road, Kano.
