FG to Commence Enrollment of Retired Police Officers on NHIS from September 7th

By Mohammed Mohammed The federal government through the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) will commence the enrolment of retired police officers on the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), from Monday September 7th. IThe Inspector-General of Police (IG) Mohammed Adamu, has therefore directed the nationwide registration and capturing of all retired police officers with effect from 7th September to 23rd September. The Force Spokesperson, Mr. Frank Mba, in a statement, said all retired police officers, irrespective of their rank on retirement, along with a spouse, will have full access to all NHIS services and benefits covered by the Police Health Maintenance Organization (Police-HMO) Code-073.
