First Lady urges women to lead in food security campaign
The First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, has urged women to be at the forefront of the Food Security Campaign in the country.
Mrs Tinubu said this while unveiling her vegetable garden in the State House Residence, encouraging first-time women farmers to join the ongoing #EveryHomeAGarden competition.
According to her, the winner of the competition will receive a N25m cash prize.
The first lady, who planted spinach, waterleaf, bitterleaf, ewedu, lemon grass, scentleaf and okro, said a little effort on the part of every individual will go a long way in ameliorating food insufficiency.
