Miyetti Allah To FG: Stop ‘Heartbreaking’ Killings In Zamfara

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has pleaded with the Federal Government to deploy security agencies to Zamfara to put an end to the ‘heartbreaking’ killings in some parts of the state. At least seven people were reported killed on Tuesday, after gunmen went from house to house killing people in the Chafe Local Government Area of the state. Security operatives in Ondo have rescued no fewer than 13 victims of kidnapping along Abuja Road in Isua, the headquarters of Akoko South-East Local Government Area of the state. The World Bank has released $150 million to help the Ghanaian government fulfil its poverty alleviation obligations, a release from the bank’s Ghana office said.
