Bobrisky: NCoS, EFCC Deny Any Wrong Doing

The Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCoS, Haliru Nabana has said that Mr Idris Okuneye, a cross-dresser popularly known as Bobrisky, served his jail term in a correctional facility in Lagos state. Nababa stated this while addressing the House of Representatives Committee investigating alleged bribery and misconduct against the NCS and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Abuja on Monday. Recall that Bobrisky was convicted for mutilating the naira and was sentenced to six months in jail. The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court on Friday admitted Bristol Isaac Tamunobifiri, popularly known on his X handle as “PIDOM Nigeria,” to a N5 million bail with one surety in the like sum. Justice Emeka Nwite, in a ruling on his bail application moved by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, held that bail is a constitutional right. Court Sentences Five 2018 Offa Bank Robbery Suspects To Death By Hanging

A high court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Thursday sentenced five men charged with the Offa bank robbery incident to death by hanging. The court convicted Ayoade Akinnibosun, Azeez Salahudeen, Niyi Ogundiran, Ibikunle Ogunleye and Adeola Abraham. Delivering judgment, Justice Haleema Saliman held that the five defendants were found guilty of conspiracy, armed robbery, culpable homicide and illegal possession of firearms.
