Saudi Embassy: Air Peace Passengers Didn’t Fulfil Entry Conditions

The royal embassy of Saudi Arabia in Abuja says the visas of Air Peace passengers were cancelled because they did not fulfil the entry conditions of the Arab country. In a statement on Wednesday, Saudi embassy said the applicable rules and regulations of Saudi Arabia were not met, as they submitted incorrect information. NLC, TUC Suspend Nationwide Strike

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) have suspended the ongoing strike in response to the police assault on NLC president Joe Ajaero in Imo State. The joint National Executive Council (NEC) decided to halt the industrial action following a meeting with a federal government delegation on Wednesday to protest against the assault on Mr Ajaero. Strike: EKEDC urges customers to use approved e-payment channels

Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has urged its customers to use the company’s approved e-payment channels due to the closure of all its business offices. CBN: Old Naira Notes Will Remain Legal Tender

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says the old naira notes will remain legal tender beyond December 31, 2023 — and no longer have a deadline. CBN said this in a statement signed by Isa AbdulMumin, director, corporate communications, on Tuesday. In March 2023, the supreme court had extended the deadline to phase out the old naira notes to December 31, 2023.
