Police Arrest 6 Spaniards, 76 Others In Kano

Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Salman Garba has said his command arrested no fewer than six Spanish nationals in connection with the protest. CP Garba, who made this known in a phone interview with Vanguard, said the command also arrested 76 others, including the tailor sewing Russian flags, saying the command is on the trail of the sponsor. “We have arrested six Spanish nationals and 76 others, including the tailor. We recovered 23 Russian flags, we are trailing the sponsor. “They have been transferred to Force Headquarters because it has to do with sedition and national security,” the CP stated.

Comptroller General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, Kemi Nandap, says the sponsors of the #EndBadGovernance protest in the diaspora are on watch list, and they will be arrested when entering the country. INEC Registers Fresh 119,206, 58,708 Voters In Edo, Ondo Ahead Of Governorship Poll

The Independent National Electoral Commission has put the number of new registered voters in Edo at 119,206 and Ondo 58,700.National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee of INEC, Sam Olumekun, disclosed this in an analysis on Monday in Abuja. Mr Olumekun said that the figures didn’t include the 8,847 applications for transfer into Edo and 3,132 into Ondo from other states of the federation.
