NAN Multipurpose Cooperative Society declares N16m profit, elects new officers

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Staff Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited has declared a profit of N16.09 million for the year 2022. The outgone President of the society, Mr Moses Uzoagba, said this at the 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM)/Elections of the society in Abuja. Uzoagba said the cooperative was steadfast in the year under review, in spite of the economic trends, adding that it was able to invest wisely. “I wish, therefore, to report that the cooperative made a surplus of ₦16.09 million after expenses. “This came about through the commitment of the management committee and members in general.’’  He said that the management committee of the cooperative society proposed that 10 per cent of the profit, amounting to N1.6 million should be set aside as educ...

President Bola Tinubu has finally sent his much-anticipated list of ministerial nominees made up of 28 persons to the senate for screening and confirmation. Tinubu’s request was contained in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio on the floor of the upper legislative chamber on Thursday. FRSC Kuje holds mega rally, cautions motorists on reckless driving, use of expired tyres

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) (RS. 7.17) Kuje Area Command, FCT, has warned motorists against reckless driving, expired tyres, over loading of vehicles and use of mobile phones while driving, to help reduce accidents on roads..
