Troops Arrest 12 Suspects Over Murder Of Herdsman In Plateau

Troops of Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) arrested 12 suspects in connection with the alleged murder of a herdsman in Plateau but released nine after investigation. OPSH commander, Maj.-Gen. Abdusalam Abubakar, told a meeting of stakeholders from Mangu Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday in Jos that the murder was mere criminality. Yet-to-be-identified criminals allegedly killed the herdsman, Ardo Adamu Gabdo in Panyam Community of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau on Sept. 23. The corpse has yet to be recovered. The Chicago State University (CSU) has released the academic records of President Bola Tinubu, following requests by Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 presidential election. Over the weekend, the US district court for the northern district of Illinois ordered the CSU to release the academic records of Tinubu. The Organised Labour, on Monday night, agreed to suspend its 30-day indefinite strike planned to start on Tuesday. Labour Unions suspend strike for 30 days

By Gami Tadanyigbe The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have agreed to suspend the industrial action, planned for the 3rd of October, for 30 days. At the end of a five-hour closed-door meeting, the Union leaders said that all agreements had been given a timeline for implementation. Wages: FG, Labour agree on increment for all workers

The Federal Government and the labour unions have risen from their meeting with an agreement that all categories of workers should benefit from the wage increment announced by President Bola Tinubu on Sunday.
