Mohammed of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has convicted and sentenced a former Special Adviser to Dan Abia, erstwhile managing director of Niger Delta Development Commission, George Turnah, and two others: Ebis Orubebe and Uzorgor Silas Chidebere, to six years imprisonment for obtaining money under false pretence, money laundering, conversion of funds and forgery contrary to Section 1 (1) (a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1(3) of the same Act. The students took to the street on Tuesday blocking the roads leading to their campus in protest. Police Arrest 13 Cultists, Robbery Suspects In Zaria

The police at Sabon-Gari in Zaria, Kaduna State, have arrested 13 cultists and robbery suspects.
