10 students of UniAbuja get N3.7m Research Grants

No fewer than 10 students of the University of Abuja in the Federal Capital Territory are set to receive research grants of N3,772,000 naira only. The Director of the University’s Centre for Undergraduate Research, Dr Taibat Atoyebi, made this known during the third undergraduate research Day on Wednesday in Abuja. The event, with the theme “Promoting National Development through Research”, was organised by the Centre. CSOs partner traditional rulers to tackle sexual, gender-based violence, in FCT

The Women's Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA) and the Ten Pillar Partners (TPPs) have sought the collaboration of traditional rulers in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to tackle the menace of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in the nation's capital. 150 persons benefit from NGO’s empowerment programme in Kuchigoro Community

No fewer than 150 persons have benefitted from a one-week skill acquisition and empowerment programme at the Kuchingoro Community, in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The programme, organised by the Grace Anthony Foundation, an NGO, is tagged "My Hand, My Helper Project".
