APC Acknowledges Petitions Against Indirect Primaries in Kogi

By Frank Momoh The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has received petitions from some stakeholders in Kogi State in reaction to Indirect Primaries adopted for the election of the Party’s candidate for the forthcoming Governorship election in the state. Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, the National Publicity Secretary of the party, in statement on Thursday said the NWC will look at the merit of the petitions in line with the Party’s constitution and come out with a position in due course. Amaechi Tackles Obi over Igbo Presidency in 2023

By Frank Momoh The Minister of Transportation, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi has lashed out at the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mr. Peter Obi for saying that he (Amaechi) is not politically relevant to discuss whether Igbos should have the Presidency in 2023 or not. Amaechi, who was quoted by his media team Mr. David Iyofor, in a statement, made available to SHARPEDGENews, spoke on the sidelines, at an Interactive forum of Maritime Stakeholders in Lagos, on Tuesday, said the former Anambra State Governor does not have the credibility to speak on the matter because he could not win the Presidential election.
