A seminar to provide a market-place of ideas for high-level policy makers such as Ministers of Finance, Central Bank Governors within the African continent is slated for next week in Abuja.
The seminar is one of the apex bank’s effort towards revamping the agricultural value chain as a part of its own strategy and contributions towards attaining the ultimate national goal of economic diversification.
The seminar which is being organized by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in collaboration with the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), which is a Nairobi based Not-For-Profit organization devoted to advancement of economic policy research and training.
“The seminar, with the theme, “Agricultural and Food Policies for Better Nutrition in Africa”, will have about 15 Central Bank Governors and Ministers of Finance across the continent in attendance.”
