Chief Amb Ebosetale David Aigbefoh Esq, has urged Christians to reflect and imbibe the essence of the festive season as they celebrate Christmas.
Aigbefoh, who made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) said it is important to emulate and demonstrate what Jesus Christ preached and lived for.
”In the spirit of Christmas time, I wish our Christian brothers and sisters God’s continued love, favour, mercy, and guidance as we mark the birth of Jesus Christ.
”It is important that we also continue to emulate and demonstrate all that Jesus Christ preached and lived for.
”By so doing, the world would be a better place for all and together we would tackle and surmount our challenges frontally, we can do this with faith, love, humility, kindness, righteous living and compassion (to the less privileged).
”So in the spirit of the festive season, let us wine and dine together as brothers and sisters and as citizens of an indivisible and united nation, Nigeria.”
While calling on all Nigerians to be Security conscious, he maintained that security measures are designed to protect people from theft, vandalism, terrorism and other threats.
He also admonished Nigerians, especially residents of Tungan-Maje community and FCT to adhere strictly to security measures to safeguard themselves from unnecessary security issues.
The Barrister wished FCT residents in particular, and Nigerians at large, a happy new year in advance.
”2023 would be a glorious and prosperous year for us as a people and as a nation,” he said. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
