Cleric Canvasses Peace to Achieve National Progress

A Zonal Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Joseph Emmanuel, has said that promoting peace in Nigeria will advance national development.

Joseph, who spoke at a “Divine Encounter“ crusade organised by the RCCG King of Glory Parish, Buzunkure- Pegi Village, Abuja, said peace would promote love, unity and integrity amongst Nigerians.

According to him, the nation will enjoy divine encounter if the citizens can pray faithfully as nothing is impossible with God.

Emmanuel said the nation stood to further enjoy divine safety and prosperity if citizens could recognise the supremacy of God.

“If all can trust God, He can change a seemingly hopeless situation to peaceful and hopeful situation as He did for Mordecai.

“Divine encounter can bring salvation, healing, blessings, favour and prosperity to individuals and the entire nation.

“We need to serve God genuinely in order to experience divine encounter in our lives and the entire country“, advised Emmanuel, who is RCCG Pastor in charge of the Strong Tower Zone.

He said God would heal if we were ready to worship, praise and obey Him with all our hearts.

The Pastor in Charge of the King of Glory Parish, Deacon Gabriel Agbeja, said the crusade was organised to seek the face of God for the nation and its citizens.

According to him, if the citizens are willing and obedient, Jesus Christ has the power to solve troubled situations.

“ Jesus healed the woman with the issue of blood … We too can enjoy Christ`s healings if we move close to Him for divine encounter,” he advised. (NAN) (www.nannews.org)
