The CEO Emovworho logistics limited, Comrade Austin obule Emovworho, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for suspending the Central bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele.
Emovworho, who made the commendation speaking with the press in Abuja on Monday, said the suspension is apt, prompt and points to the readiness of this administration to put the people first for the sustainable development of the country.
According to him, the embertled CBN governor is accused of wanton corruption and abuse of office in the dual exchange rate policy of the apex bank.
Consequently, Mr. Shola Shonubi has been appointed as the acting Governor of the apex bank with immediate effect. Prior to this appointment, he was the deputy Governor (operations) with extensive knowledge and experience in the financial sector.
“This appointment marks a significant milestone for our nation’s financial sector, heralding a new chapter filled with promise, progress, and prosperity to fulfil the yearnings and aspirations of the masses who voted for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
