COVID-19 Economic Backlash: CASER Commences Cash Donation to 50 Vulnerable Families, Children

The Executive Director, Citizens Advocacy, Social and Economic Rights (CASER), Barr. Frank Tietie, on Wednesday, reiterated the determination of the organization to reach out to 50 vulnerable

families even as he began the distribution cash to 9 newly born babies in the first phase of its reachout baby food programme and cash donation.

In a breakdown of cash donation to some newly born babies made known to the media in a signed statement, he said a total sum of forty nine naira was shared and distributed to babies through their mothers to help cushion the backlash of the COVID-19 pandemic on some vulnerable families.

The breakdown and amount are as follow: “N16,000 to Bwari Triplets, made through Messr. R. Salami 08033494932. N5, 000 to Mararaba-Abuja baby through Friends of Christ, Apostle Oche 07035611719

“N5,000 to E. Larai, for Pyakasa Baby-Abuja, N5000 to A. Isah- for Gwagwalada Baby-Abuja, 08136941237

“N6,000 to Queen for 3rd East Circular road baby in Benin City-Edo State,(08038191348). N5000 to Vivian for Garki Baby 08138439777, and N5,000 to S. Nwonu for Gudaba, also in Abuja

 

According to him, N5,000 was given to to Messr. G. Panshak, in Asokoro Extension Baby 09076200735.

while reiterating that even in the present challenging circumstance of the pandemic, CASER, is resolved to do for Nigerian children.

He said: “We are reaching out to Fifty (50) babies who are dire need of food and other medical supplies that will endure their sound health.”

We will continue the outreach until the end of the lockdown, he said while thanking friends and local partners of CASER who donations.

Tietie, expressed optimism that with love, every hardship will be surmounted.
