DARUL-SALAM lSLAMIC FOUNDATION Officials, have paid a courtesy visit to the Director General (DG) of Kogi State Government House, Lokoja, Alh. Dr. Umaru Oricha Shuaibu, to congratulate him on his reappointment as DG and discuss some way forward on how to reach out to the widows, orphans, lessprevilleged and elderly people in the society.

Haj Ramatu Abdulhammed, who disclosed this in a press statement issued to newsmen in Abuja, said the courtesy visit was aimed at strategising ways to improve the livelihood of the people in Kogi State.

According to her, The DG was overwhelmed to receive officials of the foundation and pledged to work with the DARUL-SALAM lSLAMIC FOUNDATION and affirmed to be the patron of the foundation, adding that giving back to the society is what he believes in, as philanthropy and humanitarian.

The press statement said that, “that since inception of his boss past governor of the state, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, they have put on machinery to ensure human capacity is being enhanced in the state by creating job opportunities to the graduate and awarding scholarship to a lot of them in the past.

Alh. Dr. Umaru Oricha Shuaibu, emphasised that the efforts will continue with the new government of Alh Usman Ahmed ODODO to create an economic growth and fair play environment for the people of kogi State.

“We should look into wealth creating job opportunities for our young graduate, and provide health outreach for aged ones,he promise to work with us as the grand patron to enhance the life of people in kogi state.” He said. (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
