Death Toll Rises In Oyo Cholera Outbreak

Government Hospital Flooded with Victims

The cholera outbreak, which hits some parts of Oyo State, is on a daily basis recording more deaths as more people are being admitted into both government and private hospitals in the State.

Investigation by Sharpedgenews.com showed that over hundred people more of with are children have died as a result of the Cholera outbreak in some local government areas of Oyo State.

Local government such as Ido and Ibadan North West have all suffered great casualties as the water borne related disease is spreading like fire.

Our correspondent who visited Jericho hospital discovered that the all beds in the hospital are currently being occupied by Cholera victims.
Further investigation by Sharpedgenews.com revealed that the hospital have been running on Generator as their has not power from Power Holding Company of Nigeria for five years.

Apart from this, most medical equipment in the hospital are in dilapidated conditions.

Also our correspondent who visited University College Hospital in Ibadan observed that the hospital is on a daily basis admitting victims of the disease.
