Dr Gaza formally joins APC, promises selfless service

Dr. Lazarus Zaka Gaza mni, has formally joined the All Progressive Congress (APC) and promised to serve the party and the people of FCT for the development of democracy in the country.

Dr Gaza, who joined the party at Kabusa ward in Abuja Municipal Area Council at the weekend, also promised to explore more areas that would unite the party for a prosperous future.

He, however, stressed the need for increased support for the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to overcome security and other challenges facing the country.
He added that the task of nation-building was a collective responsibility, saying Nigerians should support the government to achieve this and improve the lives of Nigerians.

Dr Gaza was the Director, Human Resource Management, Federal Capital Territory Administration and one-time Director, Finance and Administration at the Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat of the Federal Capital Territory.

Receiving Dr Gaza a day other party faithful, the APC State Chairman, Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant, Hon Yusuf Nadabo, said that the party was grateful to have him join APC.

Alhaji Usman added that it was not a surprise but an added advantage of wealth of experience to move the party forward in the FCT.

He commended Dr Gaza for his zeal and bold step in joining the party, calling for more Unity and formidable teamwork to enable APC win the future elections in FCT.

Also present at the declaration is a Former Member, House of Representatives representing AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency, Dr Zephaniah Jisalo, who advised the party members to imbibe the virtues of sportsmanship and unite to enable the party to succeed in future elections.

The event was attended by party officials in AMAC and Political appointees and the ceremony also witnessed a member of PDP Mr Daniel Dauda, who decamped to APC. (NAN)
