DSS Debunks EFCC Boss’ Arrest

The Department of State Services (DSS) had said the acting Chair of EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, was not arrested by the Service as published in several media outlets.

 

Mr. Peter Afunanya, Spokesperson for DSS, in a terse statement, said: “DSS wishes to inform the public that it did not arrest Mr. Ibrahim Magu, the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as has been reported by sections of the media.

“The Service, has since, today, 6th July, 2020, been inundated with enquiries over the alleged arrest.”
