Dr Chinedu Amadi, an expert in economics, says he is committed to promoting and boosting businesses for economic growth.
Amadi, is the author of Trade Horizone Magazine, a quarterly publication, which was unveiled on Thursday in Abuja.
According to him, the magazine projects trade and investment opportunities in Nigeria and other African countries to the global economy.
“We look at everything that affects economic growth in terms of security, we look at conflict resolution, we look at trade itself, we also look at expanding businesses.
“The reason behind the magazine is to provide us with a magazine that covers the true story of the African economy in terms of business and trade.
“So, what we are doing today is a launch of a unique magazine that comes out every quarter in the year.
“It focuses on various interests in trade, investment, businesses in Nigeria and of course, West Africa to Africa.
“We are projecting trade and investment opportunities in Nigeria and other African countries to the global economy.
“So, that is the essence of the Trade Horizon Magazine. And what we have done is to ensure that we promote business”.
Amadi, also the President, Organisation of Youth International Trade and Commerce (OY-ITC), said that the magazine was well researched and involved statistics in various sectors of the economy.
He said that the magazine was positioned to provide every information needed by investors, stakeholders, as well as Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
“We research with evergreen information. We want to have an Africa that is united, an Africa that is free to travel across, an Africa that is united in trade and economic business,” he said.
“We have collaborated with the Ministry of Foriegn Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that we distribute the magazine across the country.
“The essence of the collaboration is to make sure that we desseminate our information on investment and trade globally through the magazine.
“The effort, of course, will support in promoting business and investment, and help in adressing some of the challenges being faced in business activities, which is also part of the magazine’s objectives,” he said. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
