Players of Rivers United must be prepared for their most difficult game at the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Super 4 when they face
Wikki Tourists on Sunday according to the club’s technical manager, Stanley Eguma.
Eguma reckons that the Tourists represent a tactically-astute unit, teeming with gifted individual talent.
United finish above Wikki in the tournament standings with a win at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday but Eguma says achieving that feat will be extremely difficult.
“I have watched the first two matches played by Wikki Tourists in the Super 4 and even though they have a new coach, (Mohammed Babaganaru), it is quite clear that it is a very good team.
“The manner of their victory over FC Ifeanyiubah was very impressive and to hold Rangers to a draw is also commendable.
“The team’s tactics are very good and they have very good players.
“My players must give this their all and play with maximum concentration because I honestly believe this will be our most difficult match in the competition,” Eguma told www.riversunitedfcom.
A win for United could see them emerge champions of the Super 4 if Rangers fail to win in the final game of the competition against FC Ifeanyiubah.
United’s game against Wikki Tourists will kick off at 5pm while Rangers and FC Ifeanyiubah go toe to toe from 7pm.
Both games will be played at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
