For Legislative Assembly News Editorial Board has felicitated with Members of the National Assembly and Nigeria on the occasion of El Kabir celebration.
Aigbefoh made the felicitation in a press statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday.
“On behalf of the News Editorial Board of Legislative Assembly News, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to all members of the National Assembly Complex, as well as the members of the State Houses of Assembly and the entire nation of Nigeria, on the occasion of El Kabir celebration.
“As we come together to celebrate this significant religious festival, we recognize the importance of unity, harmony, and understanding among all Nigerians, regardless of their faith or background.
“El Kabir, also known as Eid al-Adha, commemorates the willingness of Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. It is a time of reflection, gratitude, and compassion for our fellow human beings.
“This auspicious occasion provides us with an opportunity to appreciate the diverse cultures, traditions, and religious beliefs that enrich our great nation. It reminds us of the values of sacrifice, generosity, and community that are at the heart of the Nigerian spirit.
“As representatives of the people, we encourage all members of the National Assembly and State houses of Assembly to use this occasion to foster stronger bonds of friendship and cooperation among themselves and with their constituents.
“Let us rededicate ourselves to the service of our communities and work together to address the challenges facing our nation, promoting peace, progress, and prosperity for all.
“We also urge all Nigerians to embrace the spirit of inclusiveness and tolerance that El Kabir embodies. Let us celebrate our differences, respect one another, and build a society where every individual can thrive and contribute to the development of our great nation.
“On this joyous occasion, we extend our heartfelt greetings to our Muslim colleagues, friends, and fellow citizens. May your celebrations be filled with happiness, love, and blessings. May the spirit of El Kabir inspire us all to be better versions of ourselves and to strive for a Nigeria that is just, equitable, and united.
“Once again, we wish you all a joyous El Kabir celebration,” he said.
