EIDI MUBARAK CELEBRATION: STAKEHOLDERS CALLS FOR PEACEFUL CO-EXISTENCE

Muslim faithfuls across the world celebrated Eidi Mubarak, otherwise known as big sallah, and in the ensuing celebration mood canvassed for peaceful coexistence between one another.

The Stakesholders in Nasarawa State used the occasion to advocate for peaceful coexistence among citizenry in Nigeria, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Dr. Abdullahi H. Armed, the Yakanajie of Uke Kingdom, (Koba) in his sallah message, on behalf of himself and the good people of Uke kingdom, felicitated with all well meaning Nigerians on the occasion of Eidi Mubarak celebration. He stated that coming all the way, from one Islamic calendar to another was an act of God’s mercy, as such, he is not taking it for granted at all.

The monarch who was overwhelmed with joy been the Paramount ruler of Fulani’s in Nasarawa State stresses that having attained the height of Arafat the previous day, was a big sign that God has answered all their prayers.
In the same vain, the Magajin Garin Uke, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi wished a blissful Sallah celebration to both the Muslim and Christian brotherhood mandating the prevalence of peace in the yuletide period.

Addressing Journalists at the Yakanajie’s Palace, Barr. Abdullahi who is vying to be the governor of Nasarawa State come 2027 used the occasion to highlight his blue print so as to attract masses support to clinch the number one seat of the Solid Minerals State.

He was of the view that if saddled with the responsibility as the governor of Nasarawa State, he will inject fresh ideas for rapid economic development, social cohesion that will ensure total transformation and development in the North Central State of Nasarawa.

Besides, the governorship hopeful said he will divide Nasarawa State into three business hubs: The Western Zone will be industrial hub; the Northern Zone will be Agriculture; and the Southern Zone will be Pharmaceutical and Medicine hub respectively.

On his part, the Director General, Nasarawa State Waste Management and Sanitation Authority Honourable Mohammed Bello Isa reiterated that the Sallah festivity and celebration is a happy day for all, and it is pertinent that peace be maintained.

While calling on prayers for peace to reign in the Country and Nasarawa State, he passionately prayed that God should continue to keep Nigeria at peace and united so as to foster development across the nation, particularly Nasarawa State. Besides, he urged citizens to support and cooperate with this government to succeed.

Prince Awar Abdullahi also thanked Allah for the peaceful Sallah celebration, he commended the security agentcies for ensuring peaceful celebration in the State. Not left out in the discourse was Alhaji Abdullahi Isa, the Madakin Uke. He thanked God for the privileges given to celebrate this year’s sallah festivity.

He said, “I am particularly grateful to the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency Engr. A. A. Sule for what he is doing in the state, the massive transformation and infrastructures across the State. I pray Allah grant him guidance and protections”.
