Chairman of Jama’are Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Alhaji Adamu Aliyu confirmed the eight persons who were kidnapped at Setraco Construction Company are expatriates. He said on Sunday: “among the workers kidnapped, there is one from Britain; one came from Greek, one Italian while the remaining five are Lebanese among them a woman and a girl”.
He also added that the incident took place at about 2.15am, he describe the incident as unfortunate and assured the residents, security operatives will catch the culprits.
It was reported that apart from the attack, two police stations and a prison was also attacked in the state by unknown gunmen.
