LATE Ekiti Deputy Governor Funmi Olayinka will be given a state burial on Monday, April 26.
This is according to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Mr Tayo Ekundayo on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.
It said that arrangements had been concluded to give the late Olayinka a state burial, in accordance with the pronouncements of Gov. Kayode Fayemi.
It will be recalled that Fayemi, during Sunday’s state-wide broadcast, said that she would be given a state burial.
It added that the burial programme, which would last for a week would begin on Monday, April 22.
Olayinka, 52, died in Lagos on Saturday, April 6 after a protracted illness.
