FCT PDP Southwest Chairman congratulates Hon. Oladapo on new appointment

Amb. Samuel Adafin, the FCT PDP Southwest Chairman, has congratulated Hon. Oladapo Olajide on his new appointment as the Senior Special Assistant on Education and social development to Hon. Abdullah Suleiman Sabo, the Executive Chairman of Kuje Area Council.

Amb. Samuel while congratulating Hon. Oladapo on his new appointment assured that PDP will come out victorious in February 2023 General elections especially in FCT. 

According to him, PDP will win at the National level, Senate and the two House of Representatives, thereby called on all eligible voters to come out en-masse and vote PDP during the elections. 

However,  he maintained that obtaining the PVC is an important civic responsibility, as such the youths should troop out en-mass to vote during the election.

He also advised the youths not to engage in any form of malpractice during the 2023 General Elections, but serve as agents of positive change for democracy to thrive in the country.

“Our prayers is that, exceptional wisdom will be your portion and God will grant you grace to pilot the affair of the office.

“The youths should collect their Permanent Voter Cards and follow all the electoral laws by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

“I urge the youths to remain law abiding citizens for a peaceful and credible election, they should also shun violence and remain resolute during the election.

“The attainment of a good election is dependent on full cooperation and support of the youths, and avoiding any form of violence during election,” he added.

Hon. Oladapo Olajide the newly appointed Senior Special Assistant on Education and social development to Hon. Abdullah Suleiman Sabo, appreciated the appointment and promised to use his office to serve the people diligently. 

However, he implored all eligible voters to vote Atiku Abubakar, Sen. Philip Aduda, Hon. Sokodobo and all PDP candidates during the General Elections. 

Besides, he said the youths should not allow the current situation in the country to discourage them from coming out to vote, adding that voter apathy was a threat to good governance.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 6 people were appointed as Supervisory Councilors and 21 appointed as Senior Special Assistance to the Chairman and a Council Secretary.  (NAN) (www.nannews.ng)
