In a bid to boost the small and medium enterprises in the FCT, the people’s Senator has commenced disbursement of grants to corporatives across the territory.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the gesture is in collaboration with small and medium enterprise development agency of Nigeria (SMEDEN).
During the flag-off of the first phase of the disbursement program, the Representative of the senator, and SMEDEN, urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds.
The beneficiaries of the first phase for the grants are drawn accross the six area councils.
Mr James and Mrs Hanatu while Responding on behalf of all the beneficiaries, expressed optimism that the grant will boost their businesses and thereby increase productivity.
They appreciate the love and genuine leadership of the people’s Senator and prayed God to bless and keep him to continue the good works for the people of the FCT. (NAN)
