FG Fires Daura, DSS DG

The federal government on Tuesday fired the Director General of the Department of State Security (DSS), Mr. Lawal Musa Daura, for yet undisclosed reason.

Mr. Laolu Akande, the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, office of the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, however did not adduce any reason for the sack.

The statement read: “Mr. Daura has been directed to hand over to the most senior officer of the State Security Service until further notice.”

However, the reason for push this medium learnt cannot be far-fetched with the recent meddling of Daura over the crisis at the National Assembly, which culminated in today’s hostage of the entire complex to standstill and disruption of activities and operations at the assembly.

This, SHARPEDGENEWSOnline learnt did not go well with presidency as such plot has further weaned the confidence Nigerians are having for the present administration
