The federal government has imposed a dusk to dawn (6 pm to 6am) in Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Briefing journalists after inspecting the level of destruction on boxing day at the Bwari main market, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Muhamnadu Bello, said the crisis claimed the lives of 3 persons with several properties destroyed.
According to him, the crisis was sparked by different cult rivalries of Hausa and Gwari youths.
Bello, who called for calm said the crisis which started on Xmas eve led to the death of 3 persons and destruction of property in the market which runs into millions of naira.
The Minister said the curfew has to be imposed to prevent further deaths and loss of properties.
