FHIN honours staffs for Hardwork, Excellence

The Food Hygiene Initiative of Nigeria (FHIN) a Non-Government Organisation, has honoured over 36 staffs of the Organisation for hardwork, dedication, excellence and best performing staff for their positive impact to the organisation.

Amb. Dr. Jonah Nicholas Karimu, Director General of the organisation during the presentation of FHIN Service Awards and Dinner Night 2021 Ceremony said the tradition for reward for hardwork is aimed at encouraging and inspiring officers to give their best in the line of duty for the development of FHIN.

The DG who also has the title as the Garkuwan Matasan Arewa Nigeria congratulated the recipients of the year 2021 FHIN award for making the organisation proud, saying more will be required from them in the course of their service to FHIN.

In his remarks, Hon. Abubakar Yunusa, Honourable Member House Committee on Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) congratulated the FHIN 2021 beneficiaries, stating that he is proud of the entire officers as they have done very well in their respective assignments.

He urged them to put in more efforts to make the organisation a symbol of Food Safety Institution among other tertiary health Institutions in Nigeria, saying he expected them to put in more efforts in the coming years.

Honourable Yunusa who also received an Award as Ambassador of Food Safety and Hygiene Standard Practice in Nigeria called on all Nigerians to promote food hygiene standard practices to ensure good food for better health in the country.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Juliet Ezema won the overall best for Miss FHIN Beauty Pageant staff of the year while Mohammed Ibrahim came first in the male category owing to their dedication to duty and commitement to the development of FHIN. (NAN)
