Finally, Axe Falls on EFCC Boss, to Proceed on Immediate Suspension

In what appeared as the hunter, now becoming the hunted, Mr. Ibrahim (now erstwhile) acting Chairman, of the Economy and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has been asked to proceed on immediate suspension.

 

As at the time of filling this report, Ibrahim Magu, will be dusting his files and table preparetory to proceed on the immediate suspension.

It became apparent yesterday (Monday) that Magu’s operational machinery was finally grinding to a halt following his ambushed by the Presidential Investigation Committee chaired by Ayo Salami, who grilled him for reasons allegedly ranging from corruption sleaze, obviius lapses in the anti-corruption war.

Ostensibly heading yesterday to the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja which is his primary constituency, to be briefed on looming development until, he got the letter to make detour to the villa where he was embraced by the panel to face the tons of Corruption allegations.

Information at the disposal of SHARPEDGENEWS, revealed that BBC report broke the news of his suspension to several online media.

The embattled EFCC boss has been having running with the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami over cocktails of corruption offences.

Soon as the media went to town yesterday that the EFCC boss was arrested by the DSS, the agency and his media office immediately issued a counter disclaimer that he Magu, was not arrested.
