The governor of Gombe State, North-East Nigeria, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya has been appointed as Chairman of the APC’s Reconciliation/Election
Committee for the October 31 concurrent legislative bye-elections for Bayelsa Central and West Senatorial Districts.
The appointment was made by the Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni who doubles as the Chairman of the party’s Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee, according to an announcement made by the party on Sunday.
The 11-member committee which is scheduled for inauguration on Tuesday at 2 pm is made up of Governor Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya (Chairman), Senator Ovie Omo-Agege (Vice Chairman), Senator Abdullahi Sahabi, Senator Ali Ndume, Senator Uba Sani, Ambassador Fatima Goni, Senator Chris Adegije, Alh Yusuf O. Ocholi, Chief Enyi o. Enyi Pearl Ekebong Inwang with Barrister Ekemini Cletus Udoh as Secretary.
The inauguration will hold at the Party’s National Secretaria
