Gov. Akpabio’s Brother, Ibanga, Cited in Petition by Akwa-Ibom Woman

– Father of Petitioner in Poor Health as He is Held in Murder “Frame-Up”

FOR Ms. Emem Eyo, it is a painful story of a daughter agonizing over the travails of a father who was allegedly jailed for a murder she claimed he did not commit. According to her, her father, Evangelist Daniel Sampson Eyo, is currently “in police custody with a very pathetic health complication,” after he was framed by a man who is currently going about boasting about how he had received money to cook-up a story to get the Ms. Eyo’s father in trouble with the Law.

In a petition made available to sharpedgenews.com by Ms. Eyo, a certain Dr. Samuel Edem Johnson said that the governor’s brother, Barrister Ibanga Akpabio, had paid him alongside a mobile police superintendent, Mr. Onen Okoi, amongst others in the Akwa Ibom Police Command, to implicate her father in a “phantom kidnap and murder case.”

Making a strong appeal for Governor Akpabio to show interest in her case, Ms. Eyo appealed to the governor as a leader who is “a gift to Akwa Ibom State to restore hope to the common man and the less privileged. To give life in place of despair, justice and equity and the restoration of the oppressed.”

“May I, with due respect, through this “PROSIGN SIGNAL” SOS, ask you to use your extolled offices and order for a DISCREET INVESTIGATION INTO THE FALSE FRAME UP AGAINST MY FATHER who is facing a very serious health challenge even while in police custody. (Picture attached).

“The whole problem with my father started in 2005 when as the Village Council Secretary prevented Dr. Samuel E. Johnson and Dr. Okon A. Ekanem from fraudulent seizure of construction materials donated to the Mbierebe Akpawat Community by RCC in the year 2005.

“I attached herewith, correspondence court rulings and appeals written by my father for help and intervention which nothing tangible came from those quarters sequel to Dr. Johnson’s effort to always pervert justice within the community.

“As of now, Dr. Johnson is going about and telling people that, Your Excellency, Chief Godswill Akpabio has given him authority in writing to make sure my father is killed by all available means to him. This I doubt and disbelieve him.

“Sir, your intervention and order for discreet investigation in this matter will ensure that Justice and Truth prevail against all falsehood. I will be satisfied when justice is done touching this matter.
