’Haram Mastermind, Suspected of Killings in Abuja, kogi, Edo, Others Arrested

Umar Abdulmalik, Boko Haram’s most deadly and wanted hit man, who was alleged to have masterminded the chilling bombing in Nyanya park outskirt of Abuja in 2015

and across Edo, Ondo and Kogi States, has been arrested by the Intelligence Response of Team of the Nigeria Police led by Abah Kyari.

Abdulmalik, who is a self confessed bank robber, assassin and explosive expert was said to be responsible for the 2015 Nyanya in which several travelers were killed at the park that year.

In a statement shared on his WHATSAPP page on Friday, Abah Kyari, said Abdulmalik was the gang leader of Galadimawa Roundabout attack in which seven Police officers were killed, adding that he also masterminded the Lugbe Police Officers killings Gwagwalada Area Police killings all in Abuja.

He is alleged to be overall commander of Edo and Ondo States multiple bank robberies, the several Killings in Okene Axis of Kogi State, explaining further that he was the grand commander of the attack and rescue operations of the prison in Niger State early this year where he lost one of his eyes during the operation which led to the escape of over 100 prisoners.

Abah Kyari, said: “The most wanted suspect was arrested by IRT Special team today after he escaped with bullet wounds from Abuja 3 weeks ago when IRT teams arrested 4 of his gang members and recovered 4 AK 47 Rifles and hundreds of ammunition from them.

“Today is one of the happiest days of my life as the massive celebration as the person responsible for hundreds of death of Innocent citizens and police officers across the nation has been apprehended
