A presidential aspirant on the platform of Labour Party, Engr. Eragbe Anselem Aphimia has pledged to create 39 million jobs
within one year in office.
According to the presidential aspirant, 89,730,000 new and sustainable jobs will be created under what he called Productivity Optimization programme by 2020. Aphimia made the disclosure at a press conference held on Monday in Abuja.
He stated that the national convention of the Labour Party slated for Saturday in Abuja is expected to gather 23, 190 delegates from across the 773 local government areas of the country.
He explained that under the Generational Power Shift (GPS), 30 delegates are being expected from each local government, saying GPS is a political movement for Nigerians between 18 and 25 years.
Aphimia, who debunked insinuations that he is being sponsored by faceless politicians, said “I intend to run the race a whole hog. I want to believe I’m known in Nigeria to a level.
“I became the first executive president in Ahmadu Bello University (ABU). ABU is the most cosmopolitan university and community in Nigeria, it has afforded me the true test of Nigeria” he said.
He maintained that “everything is missing in NigeriaN leadership and we are coming to fill the gap, through the Labour Party”.
Aphimia, added that if given the mandate, the least paid Nigerian will earn N67,300 monthly, stressing that 89, 730,000 housing units will be provided for Nigerians.
“Our government will generate a minimum of $2 trillion annually. We are not speculating, we know where we are going” Aphimia emphasized.
