Following the promotion of 8,916 Police personnel, across boards which included the Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Mba, by the Police Service Commission (PSC), last month, the Inspector General of Police (IG), Mr. Mohammed Adamu, has charged them to carry out their assignments diligently.
Other Officers decorated according to the Force statement signed by CSP Aremu Adeniran, included ACP Igbafe Afegbai, 2iC Federal Inland Revenue Service {FIRS} and SP Atiku Ibrahim, Personal Assistant to the IG.
The statement further reiterated: “While decorating the three officers, the IGP congratulated them and the Eight thousand nine hundred and thirteen (8,913) other newly promoted Officers of the Force, he also charged them to see their elevation as a call to rededicate themselves to the service of the nation and to continue to recognize and uphold the fundamental rights of the citizens.”
