Mr. Yemi Afolayan is accused by authorities of employing the use of hot electric pressing iron to inflict burns on Favor Emmanuel, a 12 year-old girl.
According to the police, the victim was tied and beaten up by Afolayan before allegedly inflicting the injuries on young Ms. Favor’s neck and foot.
Favour was under the guardianship of Afolayan and his wife, who is popularly known as Iya Beji, a trader selling frozen foods and grains along Basin Road, Ilorin, Kwara State.
