The newly formed largest opposition party in Nigeria, All Progressives Congress, APC has run into name registration crisis with the Independent Electoral with the disclosure by the Spokesman Independent electoral commission (INEC) Mr Idowu Kayode, that another newly formed political association, African People Congress (APC) was the first to signify its intention to register APC as its acronym .
The INEC disclosure is a major setback on strategy for the opposition party called All progressives congress as it went to town celebrating while showing sloppiness in firming its existential grounds.
There is a strong belief that the surprise spring up of African People Congress APC could be a calculated move by the ruling people Democratic Party (PDP) using its stooges to engineer the still-birth of the APC being midwives by Muhammad u Buhari, Bola Tinubu, Tom Ikini, Tony Momoh, Ibrahim Shekerau and others.
