Dr. Christian Oboh, a staff of Agip Oil, may be announced this week as the Chief Executive of Niger-Delta Development Commission, a government parastatal that has about one thousand three hundred personnel and an annual intervention budget of $2 billion for Nigeria’s beleaguered oil producing areas. Oboh is said to be a close associate of Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State.
Sharpedgenews.com also gathered that Dr. Tarilah Tesepah has also been screened and passed through all security background checks and may be named as the Chairman of the Commission. Sharpedgenews.com also gathered that the input of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, was not fully on cursing his earlier suggestion that a three-man interim management should be appointed to pilot the commission’s troubled affairs.
According to sources, the new board may also include Delta State PDP operative, Mr. Solomon Ogbah, Dr. Lambert Konboye, Engr. Edikan Esheth.
