About twenty corpses were dug out of their shallow graves when heavy flood swept through a local cemetery in
Kano Friday night.
Sharpedgenews.com gathered that a late Friday night heavy downpour caused massive flooding which in turn dug buried human remains at the Yan Kaba cemetery in Kano metropolis.
Residents of the area now said to have discovered floating corpses on puddles Saturday morning after the rain had subsided. One of the residents, Abdullahi Musa, said people were mobilizing for assistance so that the exhumed bodies could be re-burried in order to forestall outbreak of diseases.
The local emergency management agency confirmed that atleast twenty bodies were found and that arrangements have been made for proper earthing.
