KWARA FA CHARGES ABS TO RETURN TO NPFL NEXT SEASON

The Chairman of Kwara State Football Association, Malam Busari Ishola, has charged Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, to work assiduously to return the team to the elite division next season.

Ishola said this on Monday in his office when management team of the club paid him a courtesy visit and donated some souvenir to him.

The Kwara FA boss, said he is been motivated to support the team due to its perseverance and willingness to succeed even despite the challenges that the team is faced with.

He also urged the management to continue with its good work and endurance attitude towards returning the team to the Premier league by this time next year.

“I want to commend you people for doing a great job at ABS, developing talents.

“I must commend the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, for still keeping the team because it is not easy to own a football club in Nigeria.

“The club has produced so many good players, these are players picked from the streets.

“Please keep this up and assemble a team capable of returning the team to Premier league next season” Ishola said.

Earlier in his speech, the Coordinator of the team, Idris Musa, said the management came to thank the FA for its support to the team.

“We are here to thank you for your support to our team, especially your fatherly advice.

“We are also doing consultation ahead of the new Nigeria National League (NNL) season which may commence anytime soon.

“Please feel free to call our attention to where you think we are getting it wrong” Musa said.

The team’s Coordinator then presented official Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), match balls to the FA Chairman as a token from the team to also show appreciation to the association.
