Magnus Abe’s Victory Thanksgiving, A Dance On Peoples’ Graves- PDP

Calls On Rivers South-East Electorate To Remain Hopeful And supportive of the PDP

Concerned over the number of lives and property of innocent Ogoni natives and other residents in Ogoni Communities lost in pursuit

of Mr. Magnus Abe’s evil political ambition to impose himself on the people of the Rivers South-East Senatorial District, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, said such colossal loss was avoidable if not for the desperation, greed and hard-heartedness of the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Mr. Abe.

It is in this regard that the State PDP Chairman, Bro Felix Obuah, has described last Monday’s Church Thanksgiving by Mr. Abe, following his disputable and controvertible declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as the winner of last Saturday’s election in the area, as nothing but a dance on the graves of all those brutally killed, maimed and abused by Mr. Abe’s civilian and military hatchet men, who continually invaded the Ogoni communities of Yeghe, Boue, Bori, Zaakpon and Wiyaakara, among others, on a mission to silence all those opposed to Abe’s ambition.

The PDP Chairman, Bro Felix, believes that he who must come to equity must come with clean hands, stating that Mr. Abe has no justifiable reason or rectitude to give thanksgiving in a church without first confessing his wrong doings and apologize to the people of Ogoni and indeed, all Nigerians over the death of dozens of innocent souls in quest for his amibtion.

It is indisputable and obvious that Mr. Magnus Abe and other All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates in the Ogoni area who have been declared winners respectively in last Saturday’s election did not actually win as pronounced by INEC, the PDP said, assuring that by the grace of God all of these stolen mandates will be upturned by the court.

The PDP Chairman again, while sympathizing with the people of Rivers South-East, whose mandates have been stolen by the APC led federal government, through the use of military and brute force, called on them to remain hopeful and not to be discouraged by the current situation in the area, noting that he who laughs last laughs best, as their preferred PDP candidates will get justice soon.

He noted that God is not man that can be deceived, and that no amount of thanksgiving will avert the repercussion of the evils and injustice perpetrated in the land by Mr. Abe and his APC allies.

The PDP Chairman described the Church thanksgiving by Mr. Magnus Abe as a mockery of the Church and God, since he did not win any election in Rivers South-East Senatorial District, adding that God does not accept sacrifices of sinners, who without seeking forgiveness, offer thanksgiving to Him.
