Caleb Danladi Bako is an indigene of Kaduna state and has over ten years experience working in the maritime industry. Currently, he serves as Chairman of
Dantalc Integrated and Logistics Shipping Company. He recently founded Caleb Danladi Foundation (CDF), a nonprofit organisation that plans and implement programs that empowers widows, assist orphans who need education and entrepreneur skills, offer charitable and humanitarian assistance to elderly, physically challenge, poor children and victims of disaster, and engage in community and rural development. Caleb Danladi is also working as Chief Marine Officer in Nigeria LNG Ship Management Limited (NSML). He has held several positions of increasing responsibility as part of a progressive senior management development which includes working as 2nd Safety Officer in Nigeria Liquid and Natural Gas (2011-2013), 3rd Safety Officer in Shell Ships Management Limited (SSML) (2009-2011), Deck Cadet Officer in Malaysia International Shipping Cooperation Malaysia (MISC) (2004-2005) and Deck Cadet Officer in the Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) (2002).
Caleb Danladi is a Master Mariner and holds the following educational qualification: He has attended several shipping and management courses in Nigeria and abroad including Master of Science degree (M Sc) in Maritime studies from the University of Portsmouth, postgraduate certificate in Occupational Health and Safety Management at the University of Portsmouth, Human Element and Leadership Management Training at the Oxford Aviation Academy Sussex UK, Chief Mate certificate of competency, at South Tyneside college, South Shields Newcastle; Bachelor of Science in maritime studies at University of Portsmouth; Officer of Watch Certificate of Competency at Warsash Maritime Academy, Southampton; Foundation Degree in Maritime Operations at Southampton Solent University, Certificate in Pre-onboardship Familiarization at Malaysia Maritime Academy; National Diploma in Nautical Science at Maritime Academy of Nigeria; Caleb Danladi Bako qualify as a Master Mariner in December 2015.
He has undertaken numerous professional programmes and also belongs to many professional bodies. Mr Caleb Danladi Bako is a chartered member chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) united kingdom, Nautical Institute United Kingdom and student member institute Of Chartered ship Broker. He is currently a student member of Chartered Institute of personnel management (CIPM) .
In recognition of his selfless service to humanity he bagged an icon of humanity award by National Association of Kaduna Sate Students (NAKASS), Philanthropist award by tribe’s magazine, Special Award of excellence in recognition to immense contribution to growth of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Women wing Kaduna state and selfless service to humanity by CAN Women wing Kaduna state among others.
Mr Caleb Danladi Bako is happily married. His Hobbies are supporting orphans and widows, reading, travelling and community service.
