Minimum Wage: NLC Commences Protest Tuesday

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), on Monday said that as part of game plan to make government implement it’s demand for the N30,000 minimum wage

will from tomorrow (Tuesday) commence a protest March.

In a statement, the General Secretary of the body, Mr. Peter Ozo-Eson, admitted that it will not be strike moving forward.
He debunked media reports that NLC has called it’s workers to strike.

He said following series of it’s meeting which started in December, last year, we had immediately announced then that on January 8, 2019, there will be a nation wide mass mobilization and protests simultaneously across all states the country. This does not translate to strike he added.
