Ministerial Appointments: Buhari Keeps Lobbyists Guessing as He Jets to UK

Following the intensive lobby from high quarters for ministerial appointments which is distracting President Muhammadu Buhari,

from official assignments, SHARPEDGENews learnt from authoritative source that the President in a deft move to avoid unnecessary lobbying settled for the United Kingdom to meticulously scrutinize the list of political appointees in the next dispensation.

This is even as Mr. Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on media and publicity to the President in a statement made available to the media on Thursday, said the President’s trip to the United Kingdom (UK) though on a private visit is coming after his visit to Lagos Wednesday where he commissioned a number of projects executed by the State Government.

Adesina, said the President is scheduled to depart for Maiduguri, the Borno State capital for another official visit (today) Thursday.

He is expected to commission developmental projects especially in the sectors of education, healthcare and roads, Adesina added.

“At the end of the visit, President Buhari will be proceeding to the UK on a private visit.

“He is expected to return to Nigeria on May 5.” The statement said.
