An association of movies, TV and Radio Producers under the auspice of Abuja movie, TV &
Radio producers forum (AMTRPF), have condemned the false allegation of Nyesom Wike,
the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister against the senator of the FCT Ireti kingibe as the
sponsor of the recent protest in Abuja, Against President Tinubu.
The protest, which began on Thursday, August 2024 according to the FCT minister’s accusation against senator Ireti Kingibe , alleging that the senator had provided food for the protesters and that she enlisted
security agencies to assist in the distribution of supplies, which constituted sponsorship, according to the group was an indictment on the security agencies in FCT.
The movie, TV & Radio producers forum further adviced Nyesom Wike to as a matter of fact
apologize to Senator Ireti Kingibe for using a false and twisted video that was edited to suit
his motive which is to blackmail and negatively portray her as a sponsor of the End bad
Governances protest in Abuja, though the doctored viral video which according to the group
coordinator to Prince Emmanuel Further stated that they are well convinced that the electorate in FCT who voted Senator Ireti Kingibe to represent them as their senator cannot be fooled or manipulated by the misinformation of the Nyesom Wike.
The group FCT coordinator Prince Emmanuel Ogar, Further stated that they well it is expected that Nyesom Wike should have as a leader understood that the malicious video, which according to senator Ireti Kingibe was a clip during a labour party NWC meeting when NLC was protesting outside the Labour party office, which as stakeholders, such as senators, have of Rep members and Mr. Peter obi, they went outside to engage with the protesters to address their concerns and now these deceitful individuals and Wike are trying to pass off, an old postage as current, claiming that Mr. Peter Obi and I are leading protest in Abuja on Day one, Thursday August, 2024.

Producers forum, deserves immediate action for investigation arrest and all those behind the heinous agenda should be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others who spread falsehood and in-sighting information such as the sponsored video footage as current in order to further heighten the tension caused by the Bad Governance protest, and the same time create disunity between Ireti Kingibe’s supporter and the security agencies in FCT.
