Wife of former Governor of Ekiti, Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, has expressed confidence that her husband , Ayodele, will rule Ekiti again in 2014.
She made this known at a rally organised for the women wing of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ado Ekiti on Monday.
She predicated her confidence on the achievements recorded by her husband in his three and half years as the governor of the state, which she said, hitherto, remain the benchmark.
The former governor’s wife who described her husband as a thorough bred politician, said her husband would deliver victory for the PDP in the 2014 governorship contest.
She attributed this to his popularity among the commoners, traders, civil servants, commercial motorcycle riders, teachers, and the entire Ekiti populace.
Fayose believed that history would repeat itself if the PDP could coalesce its efforts and bury their differences before the titanic electoral battle.
She urged the gladiators in PDP to bury their selfish interests and unite to wrestle power from Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in 2014.
